INFORMATION
Alena Kosmodamianskaya is a photo- and image-based visual artist. Educated at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and the Rodchenko Art School, her work centers on personal narratives and the preservation of fleeting “in-between” moments. By capturing these transitions, she creates poetic, multidisciplinary études—using analog photography, painting, text, and sculptural objects drawn from lived experience—that explore themes of interpersonal connection and self-transformation. Her practice culminates primarily in installations and photobooks.
